The Band Logo Maker And The Music As Well As The Pop Culture That Influenced It

Whenever you see band logos, you will really see how differently and uniquely they were designed to best speak of what band they represent. You can get the most off-key to the most insane logo ever created. Through time, it has been a representation of every industry and every aspect, especially in music. The outcome and the decision of every band to choose whatever logo they prefer has everything to do with the music and pop culture the band grew up with. Needless to say, it has made a huge influence of how these band logos were made.

One that can be called the best logos is those that have made an influence from music to pop culture consciousness. Only recently, an article was posted on a Spin magazine were the copying of Disney to Division’s album cover were called as “logo swagger jacking.” A butcher shop also in Brooklyn also gave a new impression of their logo by copying Van Halen’s designed logo.
Whatever outcome you have for your logo, it can be pointed back to the band logo maker who did all the creation and the design of the logo. The thing about logo makers is that they do not have to be the actual artists to make the logo. For instance, Anthony Kiedis, not a member of the band Red Hot Chili Peppers designed their logo. Also, the same case is with Patrick Wilson who made the Weezer’s “W” symbol logo and Chuck D. who created Public Enemy’s logo.
There are also some instances where a band logo was created but then, it was not the band that made use of the logo. The best example is Brian Pike’s design. He designed a band logo for the band The Who in one of their gigs. Because of the allure and uniqueness of the logo, it was not used as the band’s cover for their album but fans and other art lovers used it. It is considered today as one of the music industry’s strongest logos.
Studying the history of band logos, it is unquestionably influenced by the culture and music background of the maker of the logo. And with designers not really a part of the band but are able to make the logos goes to say that anyone can make a band logo. It’s just that it’s your skill in designing and creativity that will be put to a great test in making this. For more information, visit http://bandlogomaker.org.
